Hi I'm Georgia and I like critiquing film as I'm sure you've guessed. I am fifteen at time of writing so in the midst of yr11 and GCSE year which is a great time to start a blog because I have so much free time! not.
I have grown up with film as my family didn't own a TV from when I was 6-14 so most of my time of boredom which most people would have spent watching TV was spent for me watching film. I think this is equally time consuming, but certainly more mind enhancing (except if your watching a really good tv show like The Great Brit Bake Off ;) ).
I have spent a lot of money on DVDs, also a lot of money trying to find shelves to fit all the films that are still expanding. My aim for this blog is to encourage my peers to get introduced so some of the classics which will help in learning culturally about the world and expand their imagination ... cos you gotta do creative writing for GCSE so any way to increase ideas is great.
Sometimes my brother Myles will be reviewing as he likes films too.
We hope to post tutorials on how to make your own film if your a kid with minimal budget and show some of our own cringy examples ;)
